Nerissa Eve Blog
Happy 14th December... and a quick share, too many blogs are way too wordy, mine included! This was another one of those weddings where I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the bride. Frankie came to see me and fell in love with our rustic props. She had a clear vision for how she wanted her Barn wedding to look and it was a real pleasure to be a part of it. The Ashes Barns Country House venue in Leek, Stoke on Trent was a bit of a trek for us but it was definitely worth while. Can I just say that this was the nicest floral arrangement I have yet seen on our barrels, Beautiful! We styled an apple crate stack along the back wall with lanterns and foliage. We placed pressed glass cake stands in the apple crates ready and waiting for the bridesmaids bouquets to complete the look. Frankie liked the idea of her table plan blending in with its surroundings. We used our rustic sign posts and hand painted each table onto chalk board arrow signs. It was a real success particularly with the fields for a backdrop. For any of the items featured in this blog get in touch for a chat or pop along and view the props and decoration.

About UsNerissa Eve Weddings founded by two sisters Nadine Nerissa (with a background in art) and Laura Eve (with a background in theatre). Following our own weddings in 2012 we noticed a gap in the industry for suppliers of hire items that offered something a little more unique and at realistic prices hence Nerissa Eve Weddings was born. In this world of DIY weddings and varying budgets we were surprised to find very few companies encouraging 'Dry Hire' and honest pricing so we have made it our mission to do just that. All of our products can be viewed and collected from our expanding storage facility. While we are more than happy to help you style your wedding, we are also here to assist you with styling your day your way by yourself. Through our love of weddings and artistic background we want to help brides bring their ideas to life. By talking to us you might be surprised what is possible with a bit of creative flair xx |
