Nerissa Eve Blog
After a very busy season where we disappeared into a glorious (often chaotic) world of weddings, we would like to share some of the fabulous imagery and inspiring ideas from 2017. We often feel like polar bears, hiding away in the summer buried under the weight of weddings and then we pop our heads up as winter approaches and remind you all we're still here. Promise to improve our social networking in 2018! Lets get things going with an advent calendar of weddings, eye candy for each festive day. Somewhere in the middle of my advent I have some exciting news to share with you all...I'll save that for later. Kickstarting with the Pipewell Hall relaunch Open Day back in June. Photographed by the hugely talented and very lovely Sarah Vivienne and flowers by Tracey Spokes Flowers for all your stories. We were delighted to be involved with the Pipewell Hall relaunch earlier this year, this is a beautiful venue well deserving of a visit from would be brides looking for a touch of class and elegant grandeur. The team at Pipewell Hall are super friendly and the house and gardens beautifully maintained. Our huge 5 foot light up LOVE letters set the scene around the dance floor We bucked the trend with the decor proving that Tepees don't have to be all about jam jars and lace and brought a bit of posh to this canvas venue. The result was glamorous with a touch of whimsy. On the tables our showstopper tall glass footed vases fabulously dressed by Tracey Flowers for all your Stories, with touches of mercury and silver and vintage ridged glass candlesticks. We added soft grey dinner candles to complement the favours and table stationary. Macaron favours by Maison Des Macarons, and if you haven't tasted Kimm's macarons yet you simply must! Stationary by Kerry at Gracie Brown Bespoke Stationary. Have a look at Kerry's Facebook page, a very talented lady! Gorgeous ruffle chair hoods by Lola Rose Venue Dressing Bringing the garden inside is something Tracey from Flowers for all your Stories is really very good at! Glass candlesticks, mercury pilalr candle holders, mercury votives, silver decorative plate chargers, silver and pearl place card holder, silver and pearl table number holders, small cylinders and pearl napkin brooches. Make an entrance flanked with our whisky barrels & adorned with a large floral arrangement and chalk board welcome board. It was very difficult to choose the images from this photoshoot they were all fabulous. A huge thank you to Sarah Vivienne who is as lovely to work with as she is professional. The beautiful Tepee was supplied by Sami Tipi.

About UsNerissa Eve Weddings founded by two sisters Nadine Nerissa (with a background in art) and Laura Eve (with a background in theatre). Following our own weddings in 2012 we noticed a gap in the industry for suppliers of hire items that offered something a little more unique and at realistic prices hence Nerissa Eve Weddings was born. In this world of DIY weddings and varying budgets we were surprised to find very few companies encouraging 'Dry Hire' and honest pricing so we have made it our mission to do just that. All of our products can be viewed and collected from our expanding storage facility. While we are more than happy to help you style your wedding, we are also here to assist you with styling your day your way by yourself. Through our love of weddings and artistic background we want to help brides bring their ideas to life. By talking to us you might be surprised what is possible with a bit of creative flair xx |
