Not all wedding fairs are the same, and we have frequented a few! There are some wedding fairs that prospective brides should not miss and the Miss Vintage Wedding Affair is one of them. The fair, run by vintage-enthusiast and fine artist, Amelia Barnes, has become renowned for it’s focus on high-quality and original suppliers offering handmade wedding services with a focus on stylish, contemporary vintage We wanted to share this event with you and urge any brides looking for inspiration and pick of the crop suppliers to attend. Sunday 20th October, 11am - 4pm, Battersea Arts Centre, The Grand Hall, Lavender Hill, Battersea, London, SW11 5TN. Tickets can be purchased on the door for £3 or purchased in advance online. Organiser, Amelia Barnes says: “I hand pick the suppliers for Miss Vintage Wedding Affair to ensure quality and originality, so that brides can come and talk to the person who will make their wedding dress, see samples of goods up close and discuss their own wedding with an expert who can tailor their services to meet brides’ needs. In short, it’s for brides who want something inspired and a little bit special.” The above pictures of our stall were taken at the Miss Vintage Affair earlier this year courtesy of Rhapsody Road photography. The first 400 brides to arrive at the fair will receive a goodie bag, filled with exciting gifts. Musicians such as The Vintage DJ, Vintage Rose Lancaster and Chris Ward Guitarist will provide entertainment throughout the day, and interactive stalls such as Lucy Lou’s Pop-Up Parlour will give brides the opportunity to relax, be pampered and try out styles for their big day. There will also be an amazing interactive photo-booth installation by Rhapsody Road Photography.
We look forward to seeing you there! Nadine and Laura x If you are unable to attend the autumn event then there will be another spring fair at BAC on the 30th March 2014.

About UsNerissa Eve Weddings founded by two sisters Nadine Nerissa (with a background in art) and Laura Eve (with a background in theatre). Following our own weddings in 2012 we noticed a gap in the industry for suppliers of hire items that offered something a little more unique and at realistic prices hence Nerissa Eve Weddings was born. In this world of DIY weddings and varying budgets we were surprised to find very few companies encouraging 'Dry Hire' and honest pricing so we have made it our mission to do just that. All of our products can be viewed and collected from our expanding storage facility. While we are more than happy to help you style your wedding, we are also here to assist you with styling your day your way by yourself. Through our love of weddings and artistic background we want to help brides bring their ideas to life. By talking to us you might be surprised what is possible with a bit of creative flair xx |
