Hothorpe Hall & The Woodlands Open Day

Its been a while since our last blog, half way through the year and with weddings in full swing its always a challenge for us to keep up with the social network. But I wanted to share with you some pictures from Hothorpe Hall & The Woodlands Open day two weeks ago. One of our absolute favourite venues we were asked to dress the blessing area. We used our coir aisle and some rustic accessories like the lanterns hanging in the trees and rustic hurricane lanterns raised on tree stumps to line the aisle and large foliage urn arrangements either side of the blessing table (arrangement by Julia Dilworth Florals). With one of our vintage bikes and a whisky barrel table with monogrammed backdrop offering drinks served from pretty drinks dispensers to add the finishing touch. And of course plenty of signage and chalk board art. The blessing area piqued a lot of interest from the visitors that day particularly with the news that Hothorpe Hall have applied for a license to perform legal ceremonies in this fabulous secluded woodland! Hothorpe are hoping to be able to offer licensed outdoor ceremonies by next Spring so watch this space for more news.
